Eligibility & Admissions Process

Aura Institution champions creative vocations and women empowerment across Tamil Nadu. Our admissions process is designed to be accessible, merit-driven, and supportive:

Candidate Eligibility

Admissions are open to all passionate individuals regardless of formal academic pedigree. Prior experience is not mandatory for Foundation programs. Advanced Masterclasses in Bridal Couture or Specialized Aari Embroidery may require demonstration of basic stitching or manual dexterity.

Seat Confirmation & Batch Capacity

To preserve our hallmark 1-on-1 personalized mentorship, batch sizes are capped strictly between 8 to 14 students. A seat is deemed confirmed only upon receipt of the initial registration advance and submission of the signed enrollment form.

Course Timings & Attendance

Fashion technology and handcrafted artisan skills demand intensive, supervised hands-on studio hours:

  • Minimum Attendance Requirement: Students must maintain a minimum of 80% attendance in practical workshop classes to qualify for the final assessment and institutional certification.
  • Punctuality: Students are expected to arrive punctually for their assigned morning, afternoon, or weekend batches to ensure machine setup and teacher demonstration continuity.
  • Make-up Sessions: In cases of documented medical emergencies or genuine personal exigencies, make-up atelier hours can be arranged subject to faculty availability and advance notice.
4

Fee Structure & Refund Policy

Aura maintains complete financial transparency with no hidden tuition surcharges:

Transparent Fee & Refund Guidelines:

  • Registration Advance: A non-refundable registration advance is required upon enrollment to reserve equipment, tools, and personalized mentor time.
  • Material Kits: Cost of individualized starter kits (Aari frames, embroidery threads, needles, jewellery wires, baking ingredients) is non-refundable once the physical kit has been handed over to the student.
  • Withdrawals: If a student notifies the administration of withdrawal at least 7 days before the official batch orientation date, course fees paid (less the registration advance) will be refunded within 14 banking days.
  • After Batch Commencement: Once classes commence, no tuition fee refunds will be processed under any circumstances, as batch seats cannot be reallocated mid-term.
